1.       Draw the Memory Enhance Map &Chapter at a glance of the Chapter Electricity , Magnetic effects of electric current, Chemical reactions & equations, Acids, bases & salts, Life Processes.

2.       State the law that shows the relationship between the potential difference (V) across the two ends of a conductor and the current (I) flowing through it. Also draw the schematic circuit diagram .

3.       The resistivities of some substances are given

Answer the following questions:

i)                    Which material is best for making connecting cords?

ii)                   Which material is best to be used in heater elements?

iii)                 You have two wires of same length and same thickness. One is made of material A and another of material D. If the resistance of wire made of A is 2 Ω what is the resistance of the other wire?

4.       A wire is stretched so that its length becomes 6/5 times its original length. If its original resistance is 25 Ω, find its new resistance and resistivity.

5.       A household uses the following electric appliances:

i)                    Refrigerator of rating 400W for ten hours each day.

ii)                   Two electric fans of rating 80W each for twelve hours each day.

iii)                 6 electric tubes of rating 18W each for 6h each day.

Calculate the electricity bill for the month of June if the cost per unit of electric energy is Rs 3.00

6.       An electric lamp is marked 100W, 220 W. It is used for 5 hours daily. Calculate

i)                    Its resistance, while glowing

ii)                   Energy consumed in kWh per day.

7.       Solve the textual questions of above (1) chapters.

8.       Explain with proper chemical equations:

a)      Reaction of acid with metals.

b)      Reaction of acids with metal carbonates

c)       Reaction of base with acids

d)      Reaction of base with metals

9.       Give chemical name manufacturing and properties of baking soda, washing soda, bleaching powder, caustic soda, Plaster of Paris.

10.   A metal carbonate X on reacting with an acid gives gas which when passed through a solution Y gives the carbonate back. On the other hand, gas T that is obtained at anode during electrolysis of brine is passed on dry Y,  it gives a compound P, used for dis infecting water. Identify X,Y, T and P.

11.   Plant at least five plants near your locality or at home.

12.   Complete your practical notebooks.

13.   Draw neat and well labelled diagram of Human heart, excretory system,Neuron, Nephron, brain in your biology notebook.
